Toyota breaks into Indian market for low-end vehicles

BANGALORE, India - Toyota Motor Corp. President Akio Toyoda (C) stands besides an Etios small passenger car released by the top Japanese automaker in Bangalore, southern India, on Dec. 1, 2010. The 1.5-liter sedan is priced from 496,000 rupees and is the first low-priced small passenger car to be put on the Indian market by the automaker.
